This study aims to determine the acceptability of the developed digital comics in promoting gender sensitivity among students of Tuaca High School. A descriptive research design was employed, and data were gathered using a researcher-made instrument. The findings indicate that the digital comics are acceptable in terms of content, design, and usability, and are effective in promoting awareness of gender sensitivity. Through engaging narratives and vibrant illustrations, these stories explore crucial themes of equality, inclusivity, and diverse perspectives related to gender identity and representation.
This research developed a series of digital comics—Klase Para Sa Lahat, Bahaghari, and Bawat Isa, Sama-sama—designed to promote gender sensitivity among high school students. Combining engaging storytelling with modern, interactive design, the comics were highly accepted by students, who found the content appealing, the interface user-friendly, and the format effective in raising awareness and fostering discussions about inclusivity, diversity, and unity in the school community.
